Week 3
This week for my blog I will choose to write about the song, "I Got Rhythm" by, George/Ira Gershwin. I think this song is very weird for how it kind of seems very boastful and prideful. This wouldn't be so weird if it would have come out in more recent years. There are way more arrogant songs now, but for the time it was written in, I would think that it would be received a lot more harshly than it seems to have been. But it is very impressive how loud Ira Gershwin can get. I was definitely not expecting it to sound at all like that when I was looking at the album cover picture. I think it is super cool how different of styles different people can have when they are singing. How some people can make being very quiet and soft sound really good and make it work, while there are other people that can fill an auditorium without even am microphone and have it still somehow sound not like they are screaming. This is very dumb and I don't like doing these assignments. I wish...
